One real estate guide lists Tucker Hill homes as built from 2008 to 2017. That is too old for construction dust to be a surprise and too young for the ducts to be worn. For most houses here the plain answer on duct cleaning is to wait.
If nothing is coming out of the registers, nothing has moved into the attic, and no walls have been opened, a Tucker Hill house has no reason to have its ducts cleaned this year. The EPA's advice is to clean as needed, and "the house is ten years old" is not a need.
There are exceptions, and they are the same ones that apply anywhere:
The same guide gives the size of Tucker Hill homes as 2,218 to 4,341 square feet. Houses toward the top of that range often run two air conditioning systems. When a cleaning is warranted, that count is what the price hangs on, because each system is a separate set of ducts. Count the outdoor units before you compare quotes, and make sure every quote says how many systems it covers.
The item on a real schedule in a house of this age is the dryer vent. A vent that has gone nine to eighteen years without a brush through it is holding that many years of lint. If the laundry room is upstairs or in the middle of the house, the run is probably long. See dryer vent cleaning and roof and long dryer vents.
That is fine. Say what prompted it, and expect to be told if the ducts can wait.
